We are almost there. I know it was a hot week, which made it hard to keep the students focused. Hopefully, it will be a little cooler this week, but please keep taking advantage of heading to cooler spots in the building when you can. The main office conference rooms look fairly accessible if you are looking for a place to grade or take a break.

Please keep reminding students about the Final Exam schedule. Students are expected to be here for the scheduled exam time unless they have received their Dean's approval. Students will be reminded that they are to be in a classroom, the library, or the cafeteria if they are in the building outside of a scheduled exam. Please do your best to be available to students with questions or help during the times listed in the exam schedule.

Student schedules for next year are still a work in progress. I know many students are anxiously awaiting guidance on what summer work to do, particularly for AP courses. I hope to share specific information on these courses with the liaisons in the next day or so.

We will have an end-of-the-year luncheon on Tuesday, June 23. Stay tuned for information on the Sunshine Fund end-of-year celebration.

Grades will be open on Wednesday, June 17, in the morning. As you complete final grades, please run grade verifications and check them carefully. If you need a refresher on how to do that, please let us know.

We will share the staff sign-out sheet next Monday so you can begin closing out your room.

I will also share an update on building access for the summer early next week. It is exciting to know our new fire alarm system will be up and running when we return for the 2026-2027 school year.

We will meet for our last faculty meeting of the year on Wednesday, June 24, at 10:50am in the auditorium.

Good afternoon- Thanks to everyone who helped to make New Student Orientation a success last night. It was great to see so many students and staff in the building. I am looking forward to seeing you all on Monday. We start at 8AM in the auditorium. There will be some members of the Class of 2026 painting their parking spots on Monday afternoon. Please try to park in the faculty parking lot or in the back of the building if you usually park in the student section.  New staff, please join the staff  Google Classroom . All information sent to faculty/staff will be housed here. The  class code is a5ca6a4. The custodians have been working hard to make sure each classroom has the correct number of desks (minus study halls). There may be a few classrooms off a desk or two based on student moves at the end of this week. If anyone has furniture in their rooms that is not being used, please let me know. We are short some L-shaped desks, under-desk file cabinets, and bookcases....

Good afternoon- I hope you have been able to dig out from the storm. Tomorrow is sure to be a little chaotic, and I fully predict we will have students who don't understand the exam schedule changes and families who may keep their students home. We will need to be flexible! Stay warm! Here is the schedule for tomorrow:  G block exam: 10:30 am- 12 pm Lunch: 1st (12:05-12:35) - English, math, & science             2nd (12:40-1:10) - history, world language, unified arts, special education, ELL & wellness Students will need to be asked to remain in their class for first lunch and return to the class they were testing in for second lunch. We will do our best with this but are not going to stress about kids being elsewhere. We have no way of knowing how many G block students are staying for A block.  A block exam: 1:15 pm- 2:45 pm Along with the updated midyear exam schedule .  Grades for Term 2 will close on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, a...
