Good afternoon- I hope you have been able to dig out from the storm. Tomorrow is sure to be a little chaotic, and I fully predict we will have students who don't understand the exam schedule changes and families who may keep their students home. We will need to be flexible! Stay warm! Here is the schedule for tomorrow:  G block exam: 10:30 am- 12 pm Lunch: 1st (12:05-12:35) - English, math, & science             2nd (12:40-1:10) - history, world language, unified arts, special education, ELL & wellness Students will need to be asked to remain in their class for first lunch and return to the class they were testing in for second lunch. We will do our best with this but are not going to stress about kids being elsewhere. Good morning- I hope you had a restful long weekend and are ready for the last couple of days of first semester.  As a reminder, here is the exam schedule .  The teacher portal to make course recommendations is now open. Here is the information you need to make recommendations. If you have questions, do not hesitate to ask. Thank you to all who put time into updating the Program of Studies . It will be posted this week for students and families.  Here are the slides from PD on Friday. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of your conversation. Reach out to a colleague if you heard them share something you would like to try.  The Class of 2030 will be here on Friday, January 23, to tour the building and learn more about AHS. Good morning- As we wrap up Term 2, please take a moment to remind students of the mid-year exam expectations .  I hope to have the 2026-2027 Program of Studies posted and shared with the community by the end of the week. Thank you for all of the work you did updating it for the coming school year. Good morning and Happy New Year- I hope you had a wonderful break, filled with time to rest and spend quality time with those who bring you happiness.  As you prepare for the day, I hope you are excited to see our students and get them ready for the end of Term 2 and mid-year exams.  Today is an opportunity to reset your expectations if needed. It is the school-wide expectation that phones are in holders during all instructional time, including study hall and x-block. This can only work well if we all work together to be consistent. Thank you for your willingness to make this a team effort. We have a faculty meeting this Thursday, January 8, at 2:55pm. Please plan accordingly.  We have an all-staff professional day on Friday, January 16, 2026. Hours for the professional day at 8am-2:35pm.
