I hope to have the 2026-2027 Program of Studies posted and shared with the community by the end of the week. Thank you for all of the work you did updating it for the coming school year. I am excited by the proposed new classes, and I am sure students will be as well.

The Education Development Center (EDC), the organization that we work with for the MWAHS (MetroWest Adolescent Health Survey) sent the following opportunity:

  1. Digital Wellness Focus Groups for School Staff Next Week (Jan 14 and 15)

As part of our digital wellness work in the region, we are hosting two virtual focus groups next week for teachers, counselors, nurses, IT professionals, and other school staff interested in discussing student digital wellness. We would appreciate you sharing the attached flyer with colleagues at the elementary, middle, and high school levels who may be interested in participating. The flyer includes details and sign-up information, and participants will receive a $25 gift card.

Please see the message below from MPY:

As we begin the second half of the school year, Massachusetts Partnerships for Youth (MPY) invites you and your staff to take advantage of our many free professional development opportunities, including virtual webinar serieshybrid conferences, and in-person seminars. Most offerings provide a valuable opportunity for staff to earn PDPs and/or CEUs at no additional cost. We encourage you to visit our website to explore MPY’s full lineup of professional development offerings and take advantage of these valuable resources for your school community

To register for MPY programming, each staff member must have their own user account. Please contact Bonnie Mullen at bonnie@mpyinc.org to create an account or with any questions regarding registering for MPY programs.

We would welcome the opportunity to meet with your administrative team to discuss ways to maximize MPY benefits for your school and to assist with user account setup.

Wishing you and your staff a successful and rewarding New Year.

Best regards,
Margie Daniels

Good afternoon- Thanks to everyone who helped to make New Student Orientation a success last night. It was great to see so many students and staff in the building. I am looking forward to seeing you all on Monday. We start at 8AM in the auditorium. There will be some members of the Class of 2026 painting their parking spots on Monday afternoon. Please try to park in the faculty parking lot or in the back of the building if you usually park in the student section.  New staff, please join the staff  Google Classroom . All information sent to faculty/staff will be housed here. The  class code is a5ca6a4. The custodians have been working hard to make sure each classroom has the correct number of desks (minus study halls). There may be a few classrooms off a desk or two based on student moves at the end of this week. If anyone has furniture in their rooms that is not being used, please let me know. We are short some L-shaped desks, under-desk file cabinets, and bookcases....

Good afternoon- I hope you have been able to dig out from the storm. Tomorrow is sure to be a little chaotic, and I fully predict we will have students who don't understand the exam schedule changes and families who may keep their students home. We will need to be flexible! Stay warm! Here is the schedule for tomorrow:  G block exam: 10:30 am- 12 pm Lunch: 1st (12:05-12:35) - English, math, & science             2nd (12:40-1:10) - history, world language, unified arts, special education, ELL & wellness Students will need to be asked to remain in their class for first lunch and return to the class they were testing in for second lunch. We will do our best with this but are not going to stress about kids being elsewhere. We have no way of knowing how many G block students are staying for A block.  A block exam: 1:15 pm- 2:45 pm Along with the updated midyear exam schedule .  Grades for Term 2 will close on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, a...
