Happy Monday-
I hope you had a wonderful break and are staying safe in the Blizzard of '26. Safe travels for those of you stuck because of canceled flights. Wishing you patience!
Congratulations to John Noel and family. They welcomed twin girls over the break. Please welcome Mark Henry to the building. He will be subbing for John while he is out on paternity leave.
I am sure you have seen the updates regarding the phone system. Please take some time when we return to set up your voicemail.
Signs of Suicide Program: Our counseling and wellness staff will administer the Signs of Suicide (SOS) program from Tuesday, February 24, through Thursday, February 26, to all members of the sophomore class. The program is administered during the student's regular wellness class. Based on the screening tool, students may be pulled for assessment by a counselor later in the day. Please watch for any signs of distress from students and call the counseling office if needed. The office will be closed for regular student access, and students will be directed to nursing. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding of possible classroom interruptions.
I encourage you to visit https://sossignsofsuicide.org/parents/ for information on warning signs for youth suicide, useful resources, and some of the key messages students will learn.
