Good morning-

I hope you stayed dry over the past couple of days of rain!

Thank you again for your attention during the PD sessions on Thursday and Friday. I have shared the slides from Friday here.

Supporting Neurodivergence in the classroom

I am looking forward to Wednesday, the PSAT/Community Service/Future Plans Day. I can not thank Sue Reap enough for the work she has put into this. We have built some wonderful community connections, and I am excited to see the work our students complete. The spreadsheet of staff assignments is shared here.  Please verify that you are listed. I have not included the English department and any staff member I am already aware will be absent.

I am resharing the links Jim e-mailed earlier this week. If you are looking for accurate letterhead, logos, etc., please use the OUR BRAND folder, which can be accessed by anyone in the drive.

About the Show:
Written by John Cariani, Love/Sick is a collection of slightly twisted, completely hilarious short plays. Set on a Friday night in an alternate suburban reality, this quirky comedy explores the joys and struggles of love. With imperfect lovers and dreamers at its core, Love/Sick is an unromantic comedy for the romantic in everyone.

Have a great week!

Good afternoon- Thanks to everyone who helped to make New Student Orientation a success last night. It was great to see so many students and staff in the building. I am looking forward to seeing you all on Monday. We start at 8AM in the auditorium. There will be some members of the Class of 2026 painting their parking spots on Monday afternoon. Please try to park in the faculty parking lot or in the back of the building if you usually park in the student section.  New staff, please join the staff  Google Classroom . All information sent to faculty/staff will be housed here. The  class code is a5ca6a4. The custodians have been working hard to make sure each classroom has the correct number of desks (minus study halls). There may be a few classrooms off a desk or two based on student moves at the end of this week. If anyone has furniture in their rooms that is not being used, please let me know. We are short some L-shaped desks, under-desk file cabinets, and bookcases....

Good afternoon- I hope you have been able to dig out from the storm. Tomorrow is sure to be a little chaotic, and I fully predict we will have students who don't understand the exam schedule changes and families who may keep their students home. We will need to be flexible! Stay warm! Here is the schedule for tomorrow:  G block exam: 10:30 am- 12 pm Lunch: 1st (12:05-12:35) - English, math, & science             2nd (12:40-1:10) - history, world language, unified arts, special education, ELL & wellness Students will need to be asked to remain in their class for first lunch and return to the class they were testing in for second lunch. We will do our best with this but are not going to stress about kids being elsewhere. We have no way of knowing how many G block students are staying for A block.  A block exam: 1:15 pm- 2:45 pm Along with the updated midyear exam schedule .  Grades for Term 2 will close on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, a...
