I was disappointed to hear we did not secure the mechanical bull and I'm not sure I will pull off the entrance by parachute, as requested by StuCo, but I am sure it will be a fun rally regardless. 😆 Congratulations to our ACADEC team on their 3rd place in this wee...

Good morning- I hope you had an enjoyable long weekend and had an opportunity to thank the veterans in your life. We are grateful for their service. I was lucky enough to once again chaperone students from the Make-A-Wish club to volunteer at Give Kids the World. It was an incredible experience for all. It makes me so proud to see the work our students do and the impact they have on the Village and the families that are visiting. The trip is a meaningful opportunity for students to learn about service and compassion.  While I know some of you may disagree, I firmly believe in the importance of these trips and the learning opportunities they offer. Unfortunately, there is limited time for students to complete homework and/or study for assessments. And sometimes, when there is time, it is not a conducive environment. I ask that all teachers respect the attendance policy as it is written and give students who were absent last week, for any reason, time to make up assignments. St...

Good morning-  As we head into what may be an anxiety-producing week for both staff and students, I want to thank you for the thoughtful ways you approach each other and our students in times of stress. Many of you have expressed that the current political climate and how to effectively address it and support students can be a source of stress for you. I know you all work to keep our school a safe space for all students and adults and the next week will be no different.  If you need support or resources to navigate this thoughtfully, please don't hesitate to reach out to me or your department liaison. If you feel a student may require assistance, please refer them to their counselor or Dean. Let's make sure we are kind and respectful to each other, as we always are, as we move through the week. The kids are watching us for how to handle their stress and uncertainty.  Please take a minute to answer these questions about your favorite snacks . Please review the PD sche...
