Good morning- Happy Semester 2! We have a busy few weeks coming up. Please let us know if you need help with anything.  Grades for Term 2 are due on Thursday, February 1 at 8:30am. Check your iPass set up to make sure you have the proper percentages set up. Midyear's should count for 5% of the grade for a full year course. Run a grade verification report that includes your Term 2 and midyear examination grade. Submit it to the office once your grades are complete and you have checked it for accuracy. Attached is the updated  Lunch schedule for Semester 2  along with the  February menu . Please review your duty schedules for Semester 2 and reach out if you have questions. Course selection for teachers will be open until Friday, February 9. Thank you to all of the teachers who are showcasing their elective offerings next week during X-block. Good morning- We are almost to the halfway mark. I hope midyear's go well this week. A reminder that the term closes on Friday, January 26. Grades will be due on Thursday, February 1 at 8:30am. Please let us know if you have questions about student grades.  The start of the new semester is a great time to reset classroom expectations. Starting Semester 2 it is an expectation that SecurlyPass (formerly eHallpass) is used for all student passes. This is an important tool to assist us with tracking student's whereabouts and safety. If you have questions about how to effectively use this tool in a way that is least disruptive to your classroom, please let us know.  A reminder that if you need to leave the building during the school day you should sign in and out in the front office and use the front doors, or at least make sure side doors are secure when leaving. Good morning- Happy Tuesday. I hope you enjoyed the long weekend.  The Clocker Classic is back and looking for AHS staff members to participate. Details are below.  Please remember to schedule your X-block offerings for the following week on Friday so that students have the ability to sign up over the weekend. If you have students who are struggling in your class, take the opportunity to assign them to you for extra assistance.  A reminder to complete the attached spreadsheet regarding the X-block elective fair by specifying the course(s) and presentation day(s). You can present multiple courses in one day, or multiple days for the same course. The posters and flyers will be printed during midterm week, so please fill in the sheet by Friday, Jan 19th at latest. Good morning- I hope you had a lovely weekend and are shoveled out after yesterday's snow.  Please remember to schedule your X-block's for the following week on Friday so that students have the ability to sign up over the weekend and Monday morning. If you have students who are struggling in your class, take the opportunity to assign them to you for extra assistance.  Erin, Meaghan, and I will be out of the building at a workshop for the HS Scheduling Network for most of the day on Tuesday, January 9. Several district administrators will be in the building to provide support. The district administration meeting will be hosted in the main office conference room that morning.  Faculty meeting - Thursday, January 11. Welcome back and happy new year! I hope you had a restful break.   We are already three weeks away from the end of Term 2. The midyear exam schedule for teachers  is here. It will be shared with students today (1/2/24) as well but here is a schedule you can post for students  (it has some small variations from the teacher schedule). Please remember that you must administer the exam during the assigned time period.  The course recommendation process starts on January 22nd with teachers making recommendations for next year.
