Good morning-
I hope you had a wonderful long weekend and a happy Easter/Passover.
A few updates for the week. Erin and Meaghan are at the MSAA AP Conference today. I will be out of the building on a NEASC Collaborative Conference on Tuesday and Wednesday.
A reminder that grades close on Thursday morning at 8am. Report cards will be posted on Friday, April 14 at the end of the school day.
We wish the group heading to Italy a safe and wonderful trip. They head out at 1pm(ish) on Wednesday. There are 63 students and 10 staff members on the trip. Please check Mike Wurster's emails for information on students who will be out of the building.
We are so excited to host the first 5-Town Special Olympics since the pandemic on Friday. We were scheduled to host when the shutdown happened and have missed it the past three years. We will be welcoming abut 90 special athletes, grades 1-12, from Ashland, Bellingham, Holliston, Medfield, and Millis on Friday, April 14 for football drills and skills in the AHS gym. The opening ceremony is at 10am and classes are welcome to come to the gym to watch the event.
We will have a welcome parade around 9:15am. An announcement will be made that morning when the athletes arrive. They will parade through the front door, through the B wing (English, science, history) then to the cafe. We invite all classes to come out and cheer these amazing athletes on! I will share a list of volunteers, cheerleaders, members of chorus, etc. who are participating later in the week.
Have a wonderful last week before a well deserved vacation.
