Welcome back -

I hope you all enjoyed Thanksgiving and had a chance for some downtime.

Better late than never I'd like to welcome to Jacoby James Phillips, born on October 30! Mom, dad, and big brother Jude are super excited and all are doing well. And welcome back to Jimmy!

We are also so excited for the Moshkovitz family. Thanks for sending the pics of Horatio. We will miss you the next couple of months Mosh but know you will be enjoying all the special moments at home with Ray.

Matt Banks will be serving as the long-term substitute for Mosh until he returns.

NEASC news: Thanks to Marybeth and Bill who have been working hard to pull together the work you have all done over the past two years to finalize our NEASC Decennial report. Our visit is just two weeks away. The team will be joining us virtually December 13-16. The schedule will be developed in the next couple of days and we will let you know if the team members will be virtually joining you. Thanks to all of you who have volunteered already.

We will have several students out over the next week due to holiday travel. Please work with them to help them keep up with their academics.

This free conference came up in MB's library group. Check it out! Future of Educational Technology Conference.

The Ashland Business Association is sponsoring a Virtual Comedy Night with Corey Rodrigues & Friends. Corey is a Comedian, Actor, Radio Personality, and an Ashland Resident.  It will be an opportunity for a family to sit safely in their home and enjoy a night of laughter as well as giving back.  The cost to attend is only $10 with the ability to get a surprise package from local businesses for $40.  All proceeds benefit the ABA Scholarship Program and the Ashland Emergency Fund.

Good afternoon- Thanks to everyone who helped to make New Student Orientation a success last night. It was great to see so many students and staff in the building. I am looking forward to seeing you all on Monday. We start at 8AM in the auditorium. There will be some members of the Class of 2026 painting their parking spots on Monday afternoon. Please try to park in the faculty parking lot or in the back of the building if you usually park in the student section.  New staff, please join the staff  Google Classroom . All information sent to faculty/staff will be housed here. The  class code is a5ca6a4. The custodians have been working hard to make sure each classroom has the correct number of desks (minus study halls). There may be a few classrooms off a desk or two based on student moves at the end of this week. If anyone has furniture in their rooms that is not being used, please let me know. We are short some L-shaped desks, under-desk file cabinets, and bookcases....

Good afternoon- I hope you have been able to dig out from the storm. Tomorrow is sure to be a little chaotic, and I fully predict we will have students who don't understand the exam schedule changes and families who may keep their students home. We will need to be flexible! Stay warm! Here is the schedule for tomorrow:  G block exam: 10:30 am- 12 pm Lunch: 1st (12:05-12:35) - English, math, & science             2nd (12:40-1:10) - history, world language, unified arts, special education, ELL & wellness Students will need to be asked to remain in their class for first lunch and return to the class they were testing in for second lunch. We will do our best with this but are not going to stress about kids being elsewhere. We have no way of knowing how many G block students are staying for A block.  A block exam: 1:15 pm- 2:45 pm Along with the updated midyear exam schedule .  Grades for Term 2 will close on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, a...
