Good afternoon & happy Sunday! I hope you enjoyed the weekend and survived the heavy rain without too much damage. Here's hoping the Red Sox win tonight, I am guessing there will be a lot of tired faculty and students tomorrow morning. We are only two weeks away from the end of the 1st term. Please make sure you are updating your grades and checking in with students that are struggling. Classroom observation request: On November 15th Ashland will host 2nd year teachers from Mendon/Upton and Milford. One part of the visit is class visits. There will be 7 teachers looking to visit two classrooms for 20 minutes at a time.  They will be here to visit from 10:50-11:35am.  Please let me know if you'd be willing to host the visitors! A reminder that Tuesday we will administer the Metrowest Adolescent Health Survey to all students. Please review the email from Erin sent last Tuesday: Dear Teachers, We will be requiring your assistance with administering an important student survey...

Good evening- I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  There is a lot going on this week at AHS so Be sure to take a look at everything here. Just a reminder: Take a look at the email sent last week by Josh Wiczer regarding the Thanksgiving baskets.  He needs to order laundry baskets this Friday, so all groups interested must submit the online form by then. This is an amazing tradition and a great way to give back to the community.   Monday, October 22 we will be introducing the students to the Sandy Hook Promise- Anonymous Reporting System. I have included that was sent to parents here ( attached letter )  for more information. As a reminder 11th & 12th grades will see the presentation during 3rd block and 9th & 10th will see it last block. Join us at the first Lead Learner/Innovation Team meeting Tuesday! All are welcome to have a voice in moving AHS forward. Please consider joining us in the AHS library next Tuesday, October 23 at 2:50pm....

Wednesday is a  professional day  and will be entirely focused on our safety planning.  Please take some time over the next day or two to review our plans in Crisis Manager  (format isn't great as a GoogleDoc).  We will review our reunification plan with the support of APD. Just an FYI, I will be out of the building on Friday with limited ability to respond to email. Tickets are now on sale for the AHSTS production of  Twelve Angry Jurors . The production runs Friday, November 2nd and Saturday, November 3rd at 7PM, and Sunday, November 4th at 2PM. AHSTS offers online sales up to two hours before show time.
