Happy February-
A few reminders:
Grades are due at 8:20am this morning (Monday, February 3). Please run a grade verification for Term 2, mid-year exams, and final grades for semester courses. Double-check that they look accurate. You should be giving all students comments on their progress in your course. The translated comments are not available for every comment. You need to scan down
the list to find the corresponding number in Portuguese or Spanish. We will work on getting all comments added and hope to include Russian as well.
Course Recommendation for teachers closes on Friday, February 7. As in past years, we will leave it accessible for you, in the event that you want to make changes as conversations continue with students and families.
The override process remains the same. More information will be shared before next week when students begin their process of approving recommendations and choosing electives.
Class meetings will be held the week of February 10 and may last longer than x-block:
Monday, February 10 - Class of 2026
Wednesday, February 12 - Class of 2027
Thursday, February 13 - Class of 2028
We will call students to the auditorium about 5 minutes before the end of 2nd period.
Here is the cafeteria menu along with the message for the month from Nutrition Services.
Here are a few dates for your long-term planning...
March 20 - GPI Toshimagaoka visit- our friends from Japan will once again spend the day with us, we'll share more information on the students who will host each student for the day when it gets closer. The Japanese students will present about their school, country, and culture during the last period (A block) that day.
March 25 - SpeakSobriety presentation- all members of the Classes of 2025 & 2026 will hear speaker Stephen Hill during 2nd period. The presentation is approximately 70 minutes. This will impact F block. (The Class of 2027 will be taking MCAS on this day as well.)
If you are interested, please consider joining this event next Monday!
