Good morning-
I hope you had a wonderful break with some well-deserved rest. The stretch of time we are heading into always feels like the longest of the school year. Let us know how we can support you.
Please remember to create your x-block's activities ASAP.
Here are the slides from our faculty meeting presentation from the HappyB 2.0 team on 2/13/25. Thanks for sharing the information with your students. If you would like them to present on any of the information they shared about their research or the Metrowest Adolescent Health Survey to a class or club please let me know.
Signs of Suicide Program: Our counseling and wellness staff will be administering the Signs of Suicide (SOS) program beginning Tuesday, February 25, through Thursday, February 27, to all members of the sophomore class. The program is administered during the student's regular wellness class. Based on the screening tool students may be pulled for assessment by a counselor later in the day. Please watch for any signs of distress from students and call the counseling office if needed. The office will be closed for regular student access and students will be directed to nursing. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding of possible classroom interruptions.
I encourage you to visit www.sossignsofsuicide.org/parent for information on warning signs for youth suicide, useful resources, and some of the key messages students will learn.
Copier update: The company was in this week and replacement parts for the upstairs machine have been ordered. I hope you understand they are working diligently to fix the problem.
