Happy Monday-

It will be a busy and exciting week with graduation for the Class of 2024, science MCAS and class elections. We have our last Dean candidate joining us today (Monday). Thanks to all who have stopped by the library after school. Hope you can join us today as well. Please feel free to share any feedback with me.

The modified schedule for today is on the AHS calendar. We will start the auditorium with the entire school before breaking up for individual class election speeches. Please bring your class to the auditorium when called and sit with or stand near them to help with crowd control.

Please make sure to check the science MCAS information from Meaghan:

Now it's time for Bio MCAS! Please take a look at the BIO MCAS Proctor Assignments and Room Relocations and let me know if you see any issues as soon as possible. Testing will be on Tuesday, June 4th and Wednesday, June 5th.

If you are proctoring (or going to Canobie Lake with the seniors) but have some students in your class that period that are not testing, please list them here on the library sheet so that Marybeth knows who to expect (some of my numbers are approximate so please adjust as needed).

This is the list of students testing. Biology teachers -- if you believe someone is missing from this list who should be testing please let me know as soon as possible.

Special education teachers and ESPs: Please take a look at the coverage schedule for special education classes. Let Josh or I know if you have any questions or see any issues.

If you'd like to review the proctor script ahead of time you can find it here

As always, please reach out with any questions.

A reminder that the window for senior grades will close on Tuesday, June 4 at 3pm. Please reach out ASAP with any unexpected concerns. We are on a very tight turn around timeline this year to verify Val/Sal.

The Class Day schedule is linked in the AHS calendar. Last year the ceremony was an hour and 45 minutes. I anticipate the same this year. Please have classes sit in seats, as opposed to bleachers. Teachers should sit with your students.

I look forward to celebrating the Class of 2024 with you all this week. Lunch will be provided by the class Friday after Class Day and snacks will be available before graduation.

Many thanks to all of you. You have each played a role in getting the Class of 2024 to this week.

Good afternoon- Thanks to everyone who helped to make New Student Orientation a success last night. It was great to see so many students and staff in the building. I am looking forward to seeing you all on Monday. We start at 8AM in the auditorium. There will be some members of the Class of 2026 painting their parking spots on Monday afternoon. Please try to park in the faculty parking lot or in the back of the building if you usually park in the student section.  New staff, please join the staff  Google Classroom . All information sent to faculty/staff will be housed here. The  class code is a5ca6a4. The custodians have been working hard to make sure each classroom has the correct number of desks (minus study halls). There may be a few classrooms off a desk or two based on student moves at the end of this week. If anyone has furniture in their rooms that is not being used, please let me know. We are short some L-shaped desks, under-desk file cabinets, and bookcases....

Good afternoon- I hope you have been able to dig out from the storm. Tomorrow is sure to be a little chaotic, and I fully predict we will have students who don't understand the exam schedule changes and families who may keep their students home. We will need to be flexible! Stay warm! Here is the schedule for tomorrow:  G block exam: 10:30 am- 12 pm Lunch: 1st (12:05-12:35) - English, math, & science             2nd (12:40-1:10) - history, world language, unified arts, special education, ELL & wellness Students will need to be asked to remain in their class for first lunch and return to the class they were testing in for second lunch. We will do our best with this but are not going to stress about kids being elsewhere. We have no way of knowing how many G block students are staying for A block.  A block exam: 1:15 pm- 2:45 pm Along with the updated midyear exam schedule .  Grades for Term 2 will close on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, a...
