Good morning- I hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. I am happy to share Baby Williams made an early arrival this weekend. Congratulations to Yolanda and her entire family. Mom and baby girl, Vera, are doing great. Please join us on Wednesday, May 29 at 6:30pm in the auditorium for the Academic Awards Night. We appreciate you all taking time to recognize the hard work of our students.  Attention teachers of 1st semester seniors , please reach out to Erin and I if a students owes you anything. Seniors will not see you with their obligation form. The window for senior grades will open today (Tuesday, May 28) and will close on Tuesday, June 4 at 3pm. Good morning & happy Monday- We had a very successful prom for the Class of 2025 Friday night and are ready for the celebrations for the Class of 2024 to begin. Kudos to the class officers and advisors Jen & Cory for planning a great event and the chaperones who were there to help out.  Happy last week of classes for our seniors (and senior teachers)! Here is the senior exam schedule if you need it. Senior teachers who need coverage for your B block exam, please reach out to me ASAP. Seniors have a class meeting today (Monday) during x-block to review expectations for the next couple of weeks. Senior obligation forms will be in English teacher mailboxes Wednesday morning. Please distribute to your classes on Wednesday and Thursday and remind students they should not interrupt classes to get signatures. Good morning- I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day. Please check iPass to make sure your grades are updated. They should be at least every two weeks. Senior teachers, if you have seniors in danger of failing please make sure you are informing counselor and Dean ASAP. They have two weeks left and we don't want any surprises.  There will be a junior class meeting on Thursday, May 16 during x-block. All juniors must attend.   The senior class will have a final meeting on Monday, May 20 during x-block. Here is the schedule for next week:  May 17 Early Release Schedule  . Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! Thank you all for everything you do for the students of AHS.  A reminder of the treats scheduled for the week: Monday- coffee truck courtesy of the PTO 8:45am Tuesday- StuCo treats (seltzers and sweet treats) in the main office Thursday- lunch from Marathon Deli courtesy of the PTO Our next faculty meeting is this Thursday, May 9.
