Good morning & happy May- AP exams start today and we wish all students testing the best. I am sure they are well prepared by all of you. Please check the list when you are taking attendance. Remind students they should not travel through the back A-wing hallway (opposite math hall) for the next two weeks in order to keep it quiet in that area.  The  May menu  for the cafeteria can be found here.  Teacher Appreciation from the PTO: Next Monday, May 8th, the PTO will once again bring in the LittleTown Coffee Co. truck! They will be at AHS from  9:30-10:30. They a re also planning to have some small breakfast/snack type foods with the truck- mini muffins, pastry, etc…and a few parent volunteers so all the teachers will either have the opportunity to get out and get a drink, or they will deliver! On Thursday, May 11 they are sending lunch from Marathon Deli: sandwich wraps and chips, along with seltzers and dessert.  Please see the attached survey request ...

Good evening- I hope you had a wonderful break and are ready for the rush towards the end of the year. The time between April break and graduation always goes so quickly. That being said, if you teach seniors, please provide them with frequent reminders of how short Term 4 is and communicate with their families if they are not meeting expectations in your class. You should also keep me, the counselors and Deans informed of any senior you are concerned about.  The Class of 2023 is continuing the tradition of giving any member of the class the opportunity to speak at either Class Day or Graduation. We will hold "graduation speaker" auditions on Wednesday, April 26 at 3pm. Let me know if you are interested in joining the team judging student speeches. At this time we have 3 interested students so it should not take long. Good morning- I hope you had a wonderful long weekend and a happy Easter/Passover. A few updates for the week. Erin and Meaghan are at the MSAA AP Conference today. I will be out of the building on a NEASC Collaborative Conference on Tuesday and Wednesday.  A reminder that grades close on Thursday morning at 8am. Report cards will be posted on Friday, April 14 at the end of the school day.  We wish the group heading to Italy a safe and wonderful trip. They head out at 1pm(ish) on Wednesday. There are 63 students and 10 staff members on the trip. Please check Mike Wurster's emails for information on students who will be out of the building. We are so excited to host the first 5-Town Special Olympics since the pandemic on Friday. We were scheduled to host when the shutdown happened and have missed it the past three years. We will be welcoming abut 90 special athletes, grades 1-12, from Ashland, Bellingham, Holliston, Medfield, and Millis on Friday, April 14 for football drills a...

Good morning- As we get to the end of the term please remember you should be in contact by phone or email with parents of students who are failing your class. No one should be caught off guard. Grades close on Thursday, April 6. We will release report cards on Friday, April 14 (date change). All grades are due in iPass by Thursday morning at the start of the school day. I hope a little extra time gives you a chance to connect with family and friends over the weekend.  Please remember this coming weekend is Family Reconnect Weekend. Ask if you are unsure of expectations!  On Monday, April 3rd during the regular "X-block Sign-Up" time, students are encouraged to sign up for X-blocks to write "Teacher Appreciation Day" cards on Tuesday, April 4th - Thursday, April 6th.  The Student Council is asking teachers to play  this video  for their students, to try to get them to think about reasons students might have to say "thank you."  (An email reminder, with this...
