 Good morning-

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. It is hard to believe we are starting the last week of classes for the seniors.

Friday is an Early Release Day. Here is the schedule: May 20, 2022 Early Release Schedule

We have a class meeting scheduled for the Class of 2022 Monday, May 16 at 10:40am. We will dismiss them to the auditorium.

The junior class/prom attendees will have a class meeting on Thursday, May 19 at 10:40am.

Please review the MCAS information shared by Meaghan on May 2nd. The sophomores will take the math test on Tuesday, May 17 and Wednesday, May 18. Please remind them to bring their Chromebooks and chargers to school each day.

Please check to see that we do not have you scheduled to proctor during a block that you have a class other than Sophomores or Campus Aide Duty.
If you have under 5 sophomores, and are on the schedule to proctor your non-sophomores should report to the library (please let Marybeth know who to expect each block). If there are more than 5 non-sophomores, please let us know.

Please check the room reassignment list to see if your room will be used by a teacher who is being displaced from their room for testing.

Please let me know if there are any issues as soon as possible.

Small group proctors -- Britt or I will be in touch with further specifics soon (class coverage, relocation, etc.)

Thank you in advance for your support and flexibility.

We are still in need of a few teachers to participate in the JED High School Focus Group on Wednesday, May 17 at 3pm. The meeting is over Zoom. Please email me if you are willing to participate.

Have a wonderful week!

Good afternoon- Thanks to everyone who helped to make New Student Orientation a success last night. It was great to see so many students and staff in the building. I am looking forward to seeing you all on Monday. We start at 8AM in the auditorium. There will be some members of the Class of 2026 painting their parking spots on Monday afternoon. Please try to park in the faculty parking lot or in the back of the building if you usually park in the student section.  New staff, please join the staff  Google Classroom . All information sent to faculty/staff will be housed here. The  class code is a5ca6a4. The custodians have been working hard to make sure each classroom has the correct number of desks (minus study halls). There may be a few classrooms off a desk or two based on student moves at the end of this week. If anyone has furniture in their rooms that is not being used, please let me know. We are short some L-shaped desks, under-desk file cabinets, and bookcases....

Good afternoon- I hope you have been able to dig out from the storm. Tomorrow is sure to be a little chaotic, and I fully predict we will have students who don't understand the exam schedule changes and families who may keep their students home. We will need to be flexible! Stay warm! Here is the schedule for tomorrow:  G block exam: 10:30 am- 12 pm Lunch: 1st (12:05-12:35) - English, math, & science             2nd (12:40-1:10) - history, world language, unified arts, special education, ELL & wellness Students will need to be asked to remain in their class for first lunch and return to the class they were testing in for second lunch. We will do our best with this but are not going to stress about kids being elsewhere. We have no way of knowing how many G block students are staying for A block.  A block exam: 1:15 pm- 2:45 pm Along with the updated midyear exam schedule .  Grades for Term 2 will close on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, a...
