Good evening and happy Memorial Day- As we head into senior week I know you all join me in congratulating the Class of 2022 and wishing them a fun week of celebrations. I know Janet has shared invitations to some of the special events this week but here is the full schedule if you are interested (and wondering why you are still seeing seniors around the building): Senior Week 2022 Schedule A reminder that grades must close for seniors tomorrow at 3pm.  I thank you all in advance for participating in Class Day and Graduation:  Class Day schedule On Class Day, I ask that you sit with your class and spread out across the gym. Good evening- I hope you survived the heat this weekend.  I have shared the  Senior exam and senior week schedules here as a reminder. Seniors have been asked not to interrupt classes to have their obligation sheet signed. Please let us know if you have any first semester students that owe books or any other materials.  Stop by the Reality Fair on Friday if you can! It's an awesome event.  I am pleased to share the First Report of Progress and Planning from NEASC. You should all be proud of the commendations received. Have a wonderful week.

 Good morning- I hope you had a wonderful weekend. It is hard to believe we are starting the last week of classes for the seniors.  Friday is an Early Release Day. Here is the schedule: May 20, 2022 Early Release Schedule .  We have a class meeting scheduled for the Class of 2022 Monday, May 16 at 10:40am. We will dismiss them to the auditorium. The junior class/prom attendees will have a class meeting on Thursday, May 19 at 10:40am.  Please review the MCAS information shared by Meaghan on May 2nd. The sophomores will take the math test on Tuesday, May 17 and Wednesday, May 18. Please remind them to bring their Chromebooks and chargers to school each day.  Please check to see that we do not have you scheduled to proctor during a block that you have a class other than Sophomores or Campus Aide Duty. If you have under 5 sophomores, and are on the schedule to proctor your non-sophomores should report to the library (please let Marybeth know who to expect each block...

We are excited to partner with Decisions at Every Turn for the month to bring mindfulness to AHS. Please encourage students to sign up for this opportunity.  Vibe Tribe: Happy, Healthy & Independent Location: Ashland High School Time: X-Block / Fridays 10:39 – 11:05 (available any and all Fridays in May) Solid practices for keeping you feeling grounded and focused in a world that can feel inconsistent and overwhelming.  Practices from UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center, breathwork recommended by the US Navy Seals, and nature meditations to connect with the more than human world.   As a reminder, we have a Faculty meeting this Thursday, May 12 at 3pm in the library. We will not have announcements each morning during this time.  For your planning purposes... May 20- Early Release June 3- Class Day beginning at 9:30am June 6- modified schedule for Student Government speeches.  Final Exam schedule - please share this with students some time this week. Let students know your expectation for final exams as well.  Please update grades in iPass, especially for seniors. We need accurate information on any senior in danger of failing.
