Welcome back-

I hope you had a restful break.

It's time to start thinking about graduation! For those of you that are new, AHS faculty processes into the gym in front of the graduates. It is a nice tradition and an opportunity come together to congratulate the class. Graduation is on Sunday, June 5 at 1pm. Any faculty that plans on attending graduation and does not have regalia Josten's is using an electronic form to collect the needed information. Please click on the link below to order your regalia. Faculty wear blacks gowns and hoods from the college you received your highest degree from.

Please do this as soon as possible!

March is a busy month. Here is a list of things happening to help you keep track:
March 1-3- Signs of Suicide in all sophomore Wellness classes. Please be observant of any student who might need additional support.

News from NHS:

The National Honor Society is holding a public bowling event on Saturday, March 19 from 5 to 7 pm. The event will take place at Bowlero in Shrewsbury (405 Boston Turnpike, MA-9, Shrewsbury, MA 01545). All the proceeds of this event go towards NEADS, a charity dedicated to training and providing service dogs to people in need. This directly benefits veterans with PTSD, children with special needs, people with disabilities, and even the students at Ashland High School. Huxley, our school service dog, is from this charity.

The hourly cost per person for a group of 7 people is around $15. Groups must be no smaller than 4 people and the hourly cost per lane is $100 (split between all participants). Payments must be given to Ms. Gallant at the Ashland High School Library by Friday, March 4. If you are interested, please fill out this form. If you have any questions, please email nhs@ashland.k12.ma.us

Thank you for supporting NEADS and we hope to see you there!

Good afternoon- Thanks to everyone who helped to make New Student Orientation a success last night. It was great to see so many students and staff in the building. I am looking forward to seeing you all on Monday. We start at 8AM in the auditorium. There will be some members of the Class of 2026 painting their parking spots on Monday afternoon. Please try to park in the faculty parking lot or in the back of the building if you usually park in the student section.  New staff, please join the staff  Google Classroom . All information sent to faculty/staff will be housed here. The  class code is a5ca6a4. The custodians have been working hard to make sure each classroom has the correct number of desks (minus study halls). There may be a few classrooms off a desk or two based on student moves at the end of this week. If anyone has furniture in their rooms that is not being used, please let me know. We are short some L-shaped desks, under-desk file cabinets, and bookcases....

Good afternoon- I hope you have been able to dig out from the storm. Tomorrow is sure to be a little chaotic, and I fully predict we will have students who don't understand the exam schedule changes and families who may keep their students home. We will need to be flexible! Stay warm! Here is the schedule for tomorrow:  G block exam: 10:30 am- 12 pm Lunch: 1st (12:05-12:35) - English, math, & science             2nd (12:40-1:10) - history, world language, unified arts, special education, ELL & wellness Students will need to be asked to remain in their class for first lunch and return to the class they were testing in for second lunch. We will do our best with this but are not going to stress about kids being elsewhere. We have no way of knowing how many G block students are staying for A block.  A block exam: 1:15 pm- 2:45 pm Along with the updated midyear exam schedule .  Grades for Term 2 will close on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, a...
