Good evening all!

I hope you had a great Wednesday. Because of the building access schedule for next week I will be canceling faculty and class meetings.  By now, I assume you have all read through the plan provided for the clean out. This plan was devised collaboratively with the AEA and Central Office staff to ensure the safety and well-being of all staff members. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.

This plan is currently intended for staff t with an assigned space that needs to be cleaned/closed up in preparation for the summer cleaning. I recognize that other staff often play a role in this process but the current slots are for staff that have a classroom or office space assigned to them. ESP's who want to get into the building to pick up personal items should plan to be in the building no longer than 10-15 minutes. You can come in during any of the slots to simply grab belongings. Please do not plan to come in when the teachers you work with will be in the building. WE WILL NOT ALLOW MORE THAN ONE PERSON IN A ROOM AT A TIME.

Just a reminder to start adding assignments using the assessment codes we shared into iPass. We are not worrying about what the grade shows. You should not either. We know the math will be off.  I will continue to remind students and families that the number is not what matters. We just want and need students to participate.

Please fill out the attached survey regarding students earning credit. We need accurate information about students who have not engaged.

Students Activities information from Kayla Hurst:

Advisors should get in touch with her to start getting things processed. The easiest way to do it will be like a normal refund request (obviously we can't do student treasurer signatures, and that's completely fine) and maybe just a spreadsheet of who is owed what. So that way they can do one request for all the refunds instead of one for every person, which would be too much. They can submit it all via email.
Kayla will work on creating Google forms for the Student Activities sheets we currently have.
We need to work on a process to make payments as getting to the bank is not currently an option for Kayla. More to come.

Here's a link to the Remote Learning Information. It is also linked in the important information section.

Good afternoon- Thanks to everyone who helped to make New Student Orientation a success last night. It was great to see so many students and staff in the building. I am looking forward to seeing you all on Monday. We start at 8AM in the auditorium. There will be some members of the Class of 2026 painting their parking spots on Monday afternoon. Please try to park in the faculty parking lot or in the back of the building if you usually park in the student section.  New staff, please join the staff  Google Classroom . All information sent to faculty/staff will be housed here. The  class code is a5ca6a4. The custodians have been working hard to make sure each classroom has the correct number of desks (minus study halls). There may be a few classrooms off a desk or two based on student moves at the end of this week. If anyone has furniture in their rooms that is not being used, please let me know. We are short some L-shaped desks, under-desk file cabinets, and bookcases....

Good afternoon- I hope you have been able to dig out from the storm. Tomorrow is sure to be a little chaotic, and I fully predict we will have students who don't understand the exam schedule changes and families who may keep their students home. We will need to be flexible! Stay warm! Here is the schedule for tomorrow:  G block exam: 10:30 am- 12 pm Lunch: 1st (12:05-12:35) - English, math, & science             2nd (12:40-1:10) - history, world language, unified arts, special education, ELL & wellness Students will need to be asked to remain in their class for first lunch and return to the class they were testing in for second lunch. We will do our best with this but are not going to stress about kids being elsewhere. We have no way of knowing how many G block students are staying for A block.  A block exam: 1:15 pm- 2:45 pm Along with the updated midyear exam schedule .  Grades for Term 2 will close on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, a...
