Happy Sunday!
Thanks to all who joined us for the holiday party on Friday. You are all so appreciated and I hope you enjoy this special time of the year with family and friends. We are in the home stretch for 2019 and I know the next two weeks will be busy. Hang in there and keep giving the students your all.
Congratulations to the MIAA Division 6 Superbowl Champions! It was a great game on Saturday and we are so proud of them.
We will have a Faculty meeting on Thursday, December 12 in the library. We will review the work done by the X-block and Vision of a Graduate working groups. The meeting will start promptly at 2:50pm. Thanks!
Department meetings are scheduled for Thursday, December 19. Liaisons should update the Google calendar if you are holding your meeting at another time.
December 20 is an early release day.
Eduspire trials (eHallPass & Flextime Manager)
As we spoke about at the beginning of the school year we partnered this summer with Eduspire to trial some of their software products.
I was hoping to share some information with you this week regarding the next steps in our software trial but my meeting with Eduspire had to be rescheduled. I will be getting more information on our trial of Flextime Manager when we meet this week. This is the piece of software I am most interested in because of it's scheduling capability for x-block.
eHallPass was a nice bonus and I liked the product but it is not feasible to use this product moving forward given the majority of faculty do not want to have students use their own device for passes. We can not purchase devices just for that purpose. If we are purchasing devices they need to be for educational use. I respect our faculty's wish to not have students use their own device so we will not move forward with eHallPass.

We will once again be holding Challenge Day at AHS. It will be on January 29, day one of the second semester. It will be a great way to kick off the second half of the year. If you are interested in participating this year please add your name to this form.
Linked below is a version of the STAND staff feedback form for November's message. Please provide feedback when you can
Students viewed STAND cards at lunch last Thursday and there is a stack of STAND cards near the mailboxes that staff should feel free to take.
