Good evening- I hope you had a restful weekend. I spent it moving back into our home, we did a lot of family reconnecting. :)  I am looking forward to getting some stability back. Picture retakes are Monday. October 28. Please get your picture taken if you missed regular picture day. You must have an updated ID. We have gone longer than anticipated with the small pilot of eHallpass but I would like to have the whole school roll it out next Monday. The initial survey response for using a school device (such as your desktop or classroom laptop) versus students using their device was 60/40. Given what you have experienced or heard, please let me know ( using this form ) which device you would want to use moving forward. As you know, this is a pilot and we will look to staff and students for feedback before committing further to this type of pass system. At Site Council this week we had a good discussion abut NEASC, X-block. etc. This committee does a lot of work on the goals of the sc...

Happy Monday- I hope you have all enjoyed the long weekend. It's certainly been beautiful now that the rain has passed. I'm hoping for some more nice weather as we head into homecoming week. Thanks for the great work you did in your working groups on Thursday. There were some fantastic ideas and thoughtful discussions. Our next group meetings will be during the November 8 Early Release. I look forward to seeing the work that is accomplished this year. There are many people who still have not completed the Mandated Trainings . Please remember to add your name to the Google Sheet at the bottom of the front page of training page when you complete them all and print out any certificates and turn them in to Linda. You should also turn in the certificate at the end of the Student Services training on equity. I am still looking for a teacher to join the Site Council for the year.  We meet once a month from 4-5:30pm, typically the last Wednesday. We need your voice at the table with ot...

Good afternoon from Florida- I am sitting here physically exhausted but once again so grateful to be a part of the Make A Wish trip with our amazing students.  I just am so proud of the hard work of these students and the lessons in service and compassion they are learning.  We have amazing students! As we get ready for the week please remember a few important things: The Commissioner of Education will be here on Thursday, October 10 to speak to students, faculty, and others from 1-2pm. Please plan to attend the presentation if you do not have students in front of you during this time. All students will report to home room and 9th-10th grade students will attend the presentation in the auditorium. The modified schedule for the day can be found here. Juniors and seniors will have a study hall.  They will be encouraged to reach out to teachers to get some extra help or make up any missing work if needed. If you are a junior/senior teacher this can be a trial of how X-block ...
