Good evening-

It was a busy day today for Ashland High School.  Thank you to all who attended the service for Jake this morning.  It was incredibly touching to see the show of support.

A big shout out to AHSTS for their amazing performance of Little Shop of Horrors.  What a great show!

And congratulations to the boys ice hockey team on their exciting win over Hanover tonight. They advance to the semi-finals against Bourne this Thursday night at 7:30pm.  Go Clockers!

I am happy to announce Aleisha Egan has accepted the position of department liaison for the English department for the 2019-2020 school year. We are looking forward to having Aleisha join the leadership team next year.

Due to tomorrow's snow day Courageous Conversations: Conversation Vs. Confrontation has been rescheduled to Monday, March 11 at Ashland High School from 7-9pm. This is a world cafe style evening of conversation which will include poetry performed by Jamele Adams, Dean of Students at Brandeis. In light of the recent occurrence of antisemitism at AHS this is an opportunity to talk about how we handle words and symbols of hate and make sure that all members of the community feel safe and respected. We hope you can join us!

Ashland High School will once again host a blood drive on Monday, March 11 from 12-5pm in the gym.  Staff is welcome to sign up.  To sign up go the RedCrossBlood.org and type in the Sponsor Code – AshlandHigh65.  You can also stop by the cafeteria to sing up during lunch.
Medfield High School's Student Council is hosting a Putting For Patients event.  The Ashland community has been in their thoughts because of the connection to the Jimmy Fund so they wanted to share the event and invite us all to join.  Please consider signing up if you can!

If anyone needs a gown for graduation please let Linda know ASAP.

Have a great week!

Good afternoon- Thanks to everyone who helped to make New Student Orientation a success last night. It was great to see so many students and staff in the building. I am looking forward to seeing you all on Monday. We start at 8AM in the auditorium. There will be some members of the Class of 2026 painting their parking spots on Monday afternoon. Please try to park in the faculty parking lot or in the back of the building if you usually park in the student section.  New staff, please join the staff  Google Classroom . All information sent to faculty/staff will be housed here. The  class code is a5ca6a4. The custodians have been working hard to make sure each classroom has the correct number of desks (minus study halls). There may be a few classrooms off a desk or two based on student moves at the end of this week. If anyone has furniture in their rooms that is not being used, please let me know. We are short some L-shaped desks, under-desk file cabinets, and bookcases....

Good afternoon- I hope you have been able to dig out from the storm. Tomorrow is sure to be a little chaotic, and I fully predict we will have students who don't understand the exam schedule changes and families who may keep their students home. We will need to be flexible! Stay warm! Here is the schedule for tomorrow:  G block exam: 10:30 am- 12 pm Lunch: 1st (12:05-12:35) - English, math, & science             2nd (12:40-1:10) - history, world language, unified arts, special education, ELL & wellness Students will need to be asked to remain in their class for first lunch and return to the class they were testing in for second lunch. We will do our best with this but are not going to stress about kids being elsewhere. We have no way of knowing how many G block students are staying for A block.  A block exam: 1:15 pm- 2:45 pm Along with the updated midyear exam schedule .  Grades for Term 2 will close on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, a...
