Happy Father's Day!  I hope you all had a relaxing weekend. Unfortunately, I have nothing new to report regarding Friday's incident. As I said Friday, there was no threat stated in the writing found in the boys room but because of the mention of a gun we will act with an increased level of caution for the rest of the week.  Please plan to use the front and back doors only when entering and exiting the building.  Our intention is to have a police officer stationed at both doors in the morning and the doors will remain locked all day.  If you hear or see anything that concerns you please let us know immediately. Good evening! It's hard to believe we are coming up on our last four day of classes.  Another year has flown by.  Congratulations to DJ, Martha, and Michele.  Cynthia put on a fantastic party Friday and I look forward to a few more goodbye celebrations over the next two weeks with you.  You will all truly be missed and are leaving a huge hole in the AHS faculty! Locker clean-out will be Thursday, June 14 at the end of 2nd period.  All students should be dismissed 5 minutes before break begins to clean out their locker. We would appreciate teacher support in encouraging students to check all lockers.  Alex will have barrels in the hallways on Wednesday and Thursday to help encourage the process. Our end of the year faculty meeting on June 21 will be held at 7:40am in the library. Dismissal time is 11:20am and you are free to go then as long as all grades are entered and verified.  Please check and double check as we don't like looking for you to say to...
