Good evening all-
I can't believe we are getting ready for the week before April vacation! I hope you all have a wonderful week. It's National Assistant Principal's week so thank Lauren and Erin for everything they do when you get a chance!
Just a reminder that Term 3 will now end April 12. Please share this with your classes. The grading window will open at 3pm on April 12 and will close on Tuesday, April 24. Report cards will be issued on Thursday, April 26.
We have a faculty meeting on Thursday at 7:10am. The agenda is attached. Please let me know if you have additional agenda items.
April 13- Early Release Schedule
On April 13 we will administer the Positive Community Norms Survey to all students. Time has been built in to 3rd period and all students should be given 20 minutes at the end of the period to complete the survey. We administer this survey every other year during the opposite year of the MetroWest Adolescent Health Survey. This survey looks at students perceptions about substance use and helps drive some of our Wellness instruction as well as the STAND campaign. For the first time the survey will be administered online and students will be asked to use their own devices. We will also have the Chromebook and iPad carts available for anyone that needs a device.
Please review the instructions here. Students will also complete a brief Wellness survey developed by the District Wellness Committee at this time. The survey link for both surveys will be emailed to the students. Please ask students to make sure they know to access their school email address this week.
We will end our PD day on April 13 by 1:40pm that afternoon. I will share a couple of NEASC assignments with you on Thursday that will be the focus of Friday's work. We are a little over a month away from our initial visit. I was given the name of our Chairperson on Friday and will be speaking to him this week. I hope to have more details of our actual visit to share on Thursday or Friday.
Please make sure you have completed the brief survey which will provide input for our NEASC Self-Reflection. Please answer the questions prior to April 13. Thank you!
Remember your exit ticket that afternoon will be signing everything in TeachPoint-starting working on that now and you'll be all set come Friday. All faculty should have their evidence submitted to their evaluator by the Friday after April vacation.
Have a wonderful week!
