Good morning all- Happy Thanksgiving week. I know you are looking forward to a short week and a couple of days off. Don't forget the StuCo spirit days this week. If you need something that says Ashland on it, stop by my office. I still have a variety of shirts.  Monday, November 24th - Black Out / White Out Day (come in all black or all white) Tuesday, November 25th - Country vs. Country Club Day (dress like you are going to a country concert or going to play a game of tennis! Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I am enjoying time with our Make-A-Wish club students as they volunteer at Give Kids the World. I will return on Thursday, after a personal/bereavement day on Wednesday.  I feel like this reminder was just sent, but it takes all of us to be consistent with the rules around phones. Please enforce the school-wide expectation in your classroom as a way to support one another. Phones should be put in the holders during all instructional time, including x-block. We need to be a united front on this. If you observe a student with a phone, please refer to the handbook for the progressive discipline expectations and document it in iPass. The MetroWest Adolescent Health Survey will be administered on Wednesday, November 19. Students have been reminded to bring their Chromebooks. Not to contradict the message above, but if they do not have their Chromebook, they can use their phone to complete the survey. It is expected that they will have th...

Good morning- Grades will close for teachers on Thursday, November 13, at 8am. They will be open for students and parents/guardians after 3PM on Friday, November 14, 2025. Please remember that any student failing with a score below 50 should have a 50 entered unless you have had a discussion with the student's Dean.  We have noticed an increase in students standing at the door and hallway prior to the bell ringing each day. Please have students remain in their seats or in the classroom with the door closed if you are okay with them standing, until the bell rings. It is disruptive to your colleagues who are still teaching when nearby classrooms are loud and in the hall. Here is the modified schedule for the MWAHS, which will be administered on Wednesday, November 19. Please review this important letter for teachers regarding the administration of the survey.   DESE will conduct an in-district review during the week of December 1, and we need a group of teachers to partici...
