Good morning- Friday night was a fantastic evening for the Class of 2026! The prom, our biggest ever, went off without a hitch. Thank you, Janet Twomey, for your awesome leadership with the group. And thank you to an amazing group of chaperones. It was a fun night for all.  Please review the information Meaghan sent regarding MCAS. All 10th-grade students will test in math this week on Tuesday and Wednesday. As a reminder, department meetings are on Thursday.  Senior exams are next week, then we head into Senior Week. Here are the slides shared with the class last week if you are interested. English teachers will receive the Senior Obligation Form and are asked to distribute it in class on Wednesday and Thursday. Students have been reminded to not interrupt classes to get signatures. They will turn the form in on June 3 prior to getting their cap and gown. Have a fantastic week.

Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms & mother figures out there- Best of luck to the special athletes competing in the 5-Town Special Olympics today!  I apologize for the late notice, but we will do a class meeting with the juniors/prom attendees on Tuesday, May 13, and the seniors on Wednesday, May 14, during x-block. Please send your second block seniors to the auditorium, as we are not able to make announcements on 5/14.  Art Saves Ashland, which includes the student art show, as well as the Spring Choral Concert, are happening back to back on Thursday, May 15, starting at 4pm.  The concert is at 7pm in the auditorium. These events showcase the amazing talent of many of our students.  Here is the Early Release schedule for Friday, May 16. You can also find it linked on the school calendar. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! Thank you for all that you do each and every day. I am so grateful to work with all of you.  The PTO is graciously taking care of us this week. The coffee truck will be pulling up on Wednesday morning. Thursday lunch will be provided from TJ's. A colleague put together this great resource of Teacher Appreciation Deals  that is definitely worth sharing.  The faculty meeting is on Thursday, May 8, at 2:55. We have a busy agenda. The concert choir will perform a selection from their recent MICCA competition, the CARES team will share information from the recent survey on supporting LGBTQ+ students and staff, and the team working on AI best practices will present their work.  Important reminder: Please use the appropriate branding materials for any items that represent Ashland High School. This is an expectation of the School Committee and the Superintendent. If you have any questions about how to access the materials, please let me know....
