Good afternoon- Apologies for the delay in this message. I hope it was a good Monday. This last week is usually spirited and a little crazy. Hang in there! The news of another school shooting breaks my heart. Please keep an extra watchful eye on our students as we approach vacation and remind them of resources available if they or a friend are struggling. Say Something and 988 are two options for any students needing support. We know that the holidays are hard for so many, and the next two weeks aren't a happy break for some of our students and families. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making the holidays a little brighter for our neediest students. I know they feel the community support. A reminder that we will not have department meetings this week. I would encourage you to use this extra hour (whether it is Thursday afternoon or another time period that works for you) to reach out to parents/guardians of students who are struggling in your class.
