Happy Monday- I hope you had a nice weekend. It's hard to believe October is here and we are halfway through Term 1. Please check that you are putting in grades every two weeks. If you have a student you are concerned about schedule them for your x-block, reach out to their parent/guardian, and talk to the counselor.  A reminder there is no school on Thursday, October 3. Please be mindful of students who celebrate Rosh Hashanah and do not increase homework expectations because of the day off. Happy New Year to all of our staff who celebrate.  Students will be directed to their homerooms to pick up picture packages on Tuesday, October 1. Please remind your first-period students to go to their homeroom first. Student ID badges are not ready yet and will be distributed at another date. The anti-hazing student group form was due on Friday. If your group has not turned it into the front office please do so ASAP. Good morning- Department meetings are this week from 2:50-3:50pm.  A reminder that self-assessment and goals/benchmarks are due on Friday, September 27.  A reminder that next week is Rosh Hashanah and there is no school on Thursday, October 3. Students should not be assigned additional work because of the day off.  Our Gimkit license has been renewed. Good morning, and happy Monday! I hope you had a restful weekend after our first full and busy week. Thank you for a wonderful back-to-school night. Many parents shared how much they enjoyed meeting you and hearing about the year. Picture day is Tuesday, September 17. All students and staff must have their pictures taken to make new ID badges. Happy Monday- I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are ready for our first full week. I was reminded this weekend that it's been 10 years since our convocation day included a fun lip dub! Here is it for those that want a smile.  Thanks to all for making sure x-block kicks off well this week! We are excited to see what the peer leaders will do working with the freshman. If you are using an x-block for common planning time please let us know what day you plan to use.  If you have any agenda items for the faculty meeting this week please let me know. We will meet at 2:55pm in the library on Thursday.   Back to School Night is also Thursday at 6:30pm. The schedule is attached here.  Parents will start in the auditorium and we will make an announcement for each class change. You should be prepared to present an overview of your curriculum and course expectations. We will remind parents that the evening is not a time to discuss individual student needs. Please share...
