Good morning- I hope you had a restful and enjoyable February break.  Please make sure to create you X-block activities ASAP if you have not done so. Remind students during first block to schedule themselves for the week. We have a Red Cross blood drive scheduled Thursday, February 29 from 12-5pm. We will share a list of students participating by Wednesday.  For your planning purposes our March 15 Early Release professional development will be held via Zoom with JED High School.  Attached is  March menu  for the cafeteria.  A group of members of the Class of 2021 is participating in the Out of the Darkness Walk in June, in memory of Nathan Noel. They asked that I share this link for anyone interested in joining them or contributing to the cause.

Good morning- Course selection   for students will open today.  Class meetings- week of February 12 (during X block)  11th grade- February 12 10th grade- February 13   9th grade- February 14 Please note that some meetings may go beyond the X-block time period.  Voluntary Faculty discussions:  weighted GPA and DESE HS schedule network updates I will hold a voluntary faculty meetings to discuss weighted vs. unweighted GPA's and the work we have done with the DESE HS Scheduling network cohort on  February  14 at both 7:30am and 2:50pm.  We will meet in the classroom area of the library. Please make sure to change any non-full day absence to No Sub Needed. If you are unable to do so please let Melissa Fell in the Business Office know so that she can adjust your account.

Good morning- Happy School Counselor Week! This week we celebrate our colleagues who support students in exploring their  abilities, strengths, interests, and talents as they relate to career awareness and development. Please take a moment this week to thank them for all they do This is often a particularly busy week for counselors as we administer the important SOS (Signs of Suicide) program to all members of the sophomore class.  Signs of Suicide Program:  Our counseling and wellness staff will be administering the Signs of Suicide (SOS) program beginning Monday, February 5 through Wednesday, February 7 to all members of the sophomore class.  Based on the screening tool s tudents may be pulled for assessment by a counselor later in the day.  Please watch for any signs of distress from students and call the counseling office if needed.
