Good morning- I hope you stayed dry this weekend.   Our RTI team is beginning their work this week and grades must be updated in iPass. It is a professional responsibility to have GRADES updated every two weeks in iPass. Please make sure you are staying on top of this. If you are concerned about a student's progress please document your communication with the parent and reach out to the counselor.  IMPORTANT  - If you have 9th grade students during X-block on Tuesday, September 26, please direct them to complete the survey regarding community service they received in an email from me this morning. The survey can be found here. Remember that 10th and 11th grade students will attend Chris Herren at approximately 9:45am. Please wait for your class to be called down. iDecide survey: The Annual School-Wide Survey is a brief (approx. 15-30 minutes) and confidential survey queries demographics, mental health, substance use, and school culture (Sample questions: https://redc...

Good morning- I hope you had a wonderful weekend. You earned it after our long first week.  Tuesday, September 19 is picture day. Pictures will be taken in the auditorium and we will begin with the 9th grade when the photographers are ready. Please make sure to also have your picture taken for an updated 23-24 faculty badge.  Next Tuesday, September 26th Chris Herren will be speaking to the 10th and 11th grades. Please plan to accompany your class to the auditorium. I have attached the Parent Information packet if you are interested in learning more about the presentation. Good morning- Thank you again for a wonderful first week. I enjoyed the opportunities to connect with our students while helping them remember our values and expectations. As we remember the lives lost on 9/11/01 today please remind students this is a day of service and to look for opportunities to do a good deed for others. As a reminder, we will have class meetings each day (Monday through Thursday) this week. They will begin at the start of X-block and may go into the next period, especially with the younger classes. We will share the slides with you later today so you are aware of what was reviewed. eHallPass should now have all students loaded. We will review with students at meetings how to use it. I ask that you start using it by the end of the week for all students leaving the classroom, etc.  We will hold Challenge Day this year on Thursday, October 5 and will need 25 adults to participate. If you are interested please let me know. If you would like more information pleas...

Once again welcome back to the 2023-2024 school year. I am excited for a wonderful year and am looking forward to seeing the impact you all have on our students. Please make sure to stop by your mailbox before the first bell to pick up student schedules and a flyer all students should receive for picture day.  As you start the year building classroom relationships please take some time to review the emergency evacuation route from your class. Remind students they should exit quickly and quietly in the event of a fire drill and that they should stay with you. A reminder to let Linda know if you need an orange folder with red/green cards. Attached is the September menu for the AHS cafeteria. If you are looking for a modified day schedule, remember you can click on the day on the AHS calendar and the schedule will be linked there. The schedule for Friday, September 8 can be found by clicking B day. If you have a 9th grade class please remind them to fill out the field day survey duri...
