Good afternoon- Thank you for a great first week of X-block. Things seemed to run smoothly and it was great to see students getting extra help, making up missed work, and having some fun with teachers. Please remember to update your schedule weekly by Friday morning. You can +/add a student to your schedule at any time.  Your self-assessment and goals were due on Friday. Please share them ASAP if you have not done so already. If you are putting in a half day request ask the front office if there is coverage available before asking for a sub. If you are a club/activity advisor or coach please remember that anti-hazing forms are due to me this week. A message went out to families on Friday that leaving for driving hours is considered an unexcused absence. It is also a violation of attendance expectations for participation in athletics and after-school activities. Please hold students to the handbook expectations of making up missed quizzes, work, etc. the following day. You can alway...

Good evening- I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are ready for our first full week. I am excited to be rolling out X-block this week. I look forward to the many benefits and supports this time will provide for students. Thank you for your planning, feedback, and support.  X-block training 2nd block tomorrow: X-block Student Training  Please review the email Erin sent on Friday regarding X-block. Here is the reminder for tomorrow during A/2nd block. Students will remain in their 2nd block class on Monday (9/20) and teachers will share the Google Slide presentation (attached above) demonstrating how students login and sign up for an activity in FlexTime Manager. We are asking that all teachers who have a 2nd block (A block) class on Monday go through the google slides with your students.  X-block FAQ's: This document answers questions posed in the staff survey.  Good morning- I hope you had a wonderful weekend. As a reminder, picture day is today. Photos will be taken in the auditorium and we will start with the Class of 2025 once Grynn & Barrett is ready. Please remind students that everyone needs to have their picture taken for their ID card. All teachers must have their picture taken as well.  Back to School Night is next Wednesday, September 22nd. The schedule is attached here . Please note we will not have a welcome event. Parents will go directly to the first period class.  I have attached the Faculty meeting agenda to the Faculty meeting agenda label at the top of this newsletter. Please take time to review the Important Memos & Information label as well. The Educator Evaluation and proposed team goals can be found there.

Good morning- I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend. Happy Rosh Hashanah/Shana Tova to all who celebrate.  This video was shared with me last week and it REALLY rang true last week:  The NOISE of School .  I loved every minute of the noise last week. Watching you all engage with classes of students and hearing your stories of meeting new students was inspiring. Seeing the students running the building on Thursday enjoying the scavenger hunt while asking questions about where to find core values posted, which "teacher did xyz", and where to find important offices was FANTASTIC. And the emails from members of the senior class, grateful for the experience of their convocation, really capped off an exceptional first week of school. THANK YOU! A very big thank you to the PBIS team for pulling off a wonderful all school event and to Janet Twomey as the Class of 2022 advisor for her creativity and flexibility. It was a day our students will remember and treasure.  Thursda...
