Good afternoon- I hope you are all well. Our counseling department and administrative assistants started back this week. It was so nice to have people back in the building. Counselors are cleaning up schedules and working to fully schedule all students. It looks like the schedule/order of classes we have talked about the past few weeks is going to work for us. The following is the classes that will meet each term: Term 1 & 3: C E F -- D Term 2 & 4: G A B -- D There is a possibility of the 90 minute classes meeting in a different order but these are the classes that will meet each term. D block will remain in the static block all year.  I have added all staff to the AHS Reopening Task Force shared drive. Here you will find a folder with DESE guidance, articles shared by group members, as well as notes of the meetings.  The  AHS COVID procedures  ,found in the drive, details some of the day to day procedures. Please reach out to me or the department repre...

Your fobs are being reactivated. Please continue to use the front doors and notify me if you will be coming in.  New term dates: Q1 9/14/2020-  11/13/2020 Q2 11/16/2020-  1/29/2021 Q3 2/01/2021-  4/07/2021 Q4 4/08/2021-  6/16/2021 This message is being shared with families. I thought it would be relevant to share with staff as well.  As you prepare your child for school, please note this important information in the plan from the Ashland Public Schools Nurses: “More tightly woven materials, such as cotton fabrics with higher thread counts, are preferable, while elastic materials are not recommended due to the higher pore size and lower filtration efficiency. (Harvard, 2020) For this reason, APS will not allow students or staff to wear neck gaiters, bandanas, or ...

August 11, 2020 Good afternoon - I hope you are all well. I will be hosting a check-in on Thursday and look forward to hearing your thoughts, ideas, and concerns as we get ready for August 27.
