Good evening- I hope you are enjoying your last evening of vacation and that you found it a restful and rejuvenating week. It was a well deserved break. I loved seeing pictures of the student trips! Our students had amazing, eye-opening experiences. I can not wait to hear all about them. I am sure that many of you spent some time this past week following the growing movement led by students across the country. I have found it inspiring to watch, and I can tell you it was quite topic of conversation "across the pond" where I spent the week. I imagine students may want to discuss the walk-outs being planned and their feelings about school safety in general.  You are more than welcome to give students space and time to talk.  ( Please remember to give students the opportunity to talk without necessarily imposing personal beliefs, as hard as that may be!) Good evening- It's hard to believe we are heading into the last week before February vacation. Ms. Chaney and I will both be away next week so the front office will be closed. The building will be open typical vacation hours, 8am-2:45pm. As always, facilities does appreciate not having p eople in the building so they can do the work they need to do. I will have limited to access to email as I will be out of the country so please reach out to Lauren and Erin the event of an emergency. Parent-teacher conferences: As a reminder conferences are scheduled this year on Wednesday, February 28 from 6-8pm . P arents have been asked to schedule an appointment if they need to discuss an academic concern or an override request. All faculty must plan to be present even if your schedule is not full. Good evening- I hope you are all having a great weekend and enjoying the game. Thanks for taking the time over the last two weeks to complete course selection for students. The window for teachers is now closed but please don't hesitate to ask if you have questions or need to make a change. Students will now make their selections through February 16. Please remind them to do that if you get a chance and encourage them to choose electives! We have a scheduled meeting time Thursday, February 8 at 7:10am. All 9th grade teachers will report to AMS for 8th grade transition meetings. Everyone else should report to AHS for ongoing NEASC work.
